Where are We ?

Spéracèdes

Let's start with this locator for the users of Google Earth.
We'll also give you a link to the list of all fixed radars, on the website of the Sécurité Routière.

Our villa awaits you at the exit of the bourg, in direction of Cabris.

Its stone front is easy to recognize.

As to finding Spéracèdes, nothing could be easier:

The nearest Highway is A8 between Marseille and Nice.

Coming from Marseilles:

Exit at the Adrets de l'Esterel, and head left for the Saint Cassien and Fayence.

Note: there's no reason to panic if you miss the exit: please refer to the itinerary from Nice, and you'll be taking the exit Mougins / Cannes.

Drive on for 8 kilometers until the STOP sign. You are at the crossroad of Montauroux. Take a right and keep on this road for 12 kilometers.

Before reaching the village of Peymeinade, take a note of the Carrefour Market supermarket. For your convenience, it will be open on Sunday morning.
It offers an ATM inside, and so does the bank next door.

Right after that shop, you will get to a roundabout.
On your left, a Peugeot garage.
On your right, a wood mill and a security agency.

Take a left on the climbing road, towards the village of Spéracèdes.
The next noticeable landmark will be an olive oil press,
which can also be recognized by a narrowing of the road and an important speed trap.
After the olive oil shop, a small roundabout with a calvary indicates the beginning of the village.
At that point, you may choose between two itineraries.

First itinerary, take the narrow road in front of you and to the left,
this will let you drive past the bakery and the small grocery store of our village,
then the butcher shop and finally the village's pub.
Right after that landmark, take a left to reach a small playground.

Second itinerary, take an utmost left towards Saint Cézaire,
drive on for about two hundred meters
then take a sharp right at the end of the curve.
You will drive in front of the City Hall or Mairie (on your right),
and you will get to that same playground on your left.

Drive on towards Cabris, on the right road before you.

After about one hundred meters, you will see our house floating above the road.

Our entrance is in the first hairspin.

As for the parking, it awaits you at the very top of the property.

Let's now talk about the route from the Nice Airport

. You will start by driving along the Var river towards the A8 Highway. It is duly marked from Terminal 2.

You should head for Antibes, Cannes and Fréjus - I'm sure you will have a chance of visiting Monaco some other day...

Take the exit for Mougins / Cannes, and head for Grasse on the D85 "La Pénétrante".

Go to the very end of the Pénétrante in Grasse, to then follow the signs for Grasse Centre. At the big roundabout Rond-Point des Quatre Chemins, you will need to drive between the Midas garage and the Bar PMU des Quatre Chemins.

Note: there are actually two exits for Grasse. If you mistakenly took the first ne, don't worry: those two roads eventually meet at the big roundabout, as we have drawn in green on the map.

You will next reach another roundabout called Rond-Point des Chasseurs Alpins, where you'll note the new Police Headquarters. Drive around the fountain and keep following the signs for Grasse Centre.

At the top of that road, you will reach the roundabout Rond-Point du Petit Paris, take a right as the signs for Grasse Centre would suggest.

Follow that road to one more roundabout Rond-Point du Cours, where you will take the Avenue du Général de Gaule towards Cabris.

Do NOT take the road just before that, which heads for Spéracèdes and Saint François (Boulevard Emile Zola).

That road will bring you to the village of Cabris.

Drive along the Grand Pré, till the second roundabout Rond-Point de la Chèvre.

Follow the D11 road towards Spéracèdes, which goes downhill on the left in front of you.

While you are there, notez the terraces of the two pubs and the restaurants of Cabris, around the Place des Puits on your left. The bakery is right after the pub Bar Chez Nicolas.

Stay on the D11 road for another two kilometers, until you reach a very sharp hairspin. The entrance of our property is right in that curve on the right, and our house would be that big house, floating above the road.

As for the parking, it awaits you at the very top of the property.
